About EZ Volt
We build the part of the house you touch every day.
The light switch, the remote, the shade at sunrise, the gate when the kids get home. EZ Volt is a Miami smart home and low-voltage integrator, and a division of EZ BH Projects, one of the city's custom home builders.
Our story
A builder's answer to a builder's problem.
For more than fifteen years, EZ BH Projects has built estate-class homes across Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Indian Creek and the islands. On every one of them, the low-voltage trade was the hardest to get right: drawings that arrived late, rough-ins that missed rooms, systems that the owner could not use and the integrator could not support.
EZ Volt was formed to fix that on our own jobs first. We hired technicians certified on Control4, Lutron and enterprise networking, put them on our sites at the permit stage, and held them to the same standard as every other trade: on the drawings, on the schedule, no callbacks.
It worked, and other builders and homeowners started asking. Today EZ Volt serves new construction and existing homes across South Florida, from our office on Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater.
How we work
Four things we will not compromise on.
- 01
Drawings before products.
Every project starts as a plan: what goes where, on what cable, controlled from what. Equipment is chosen to fit the design, not the other way around.
- 02
Simple for the people who live there.
A system is finished when a guest can turn on the TV and a grandparent can dim the lights. We program for the household, then come back after 30 days and simplify further.
- 03
Built for the coast.
Salt air, humidity, hurricane season and power blips are the operating environment. Marine-grade hardware, sealed penetrations, battery backup and generator coordination are standard, not upgrades.
- 04
Documented like it matters.
Labeled cables, an as-built map, credentials in your hands. Whoever works on the house next, including us in ten years, will know what is in the walls.
Credentials
Certified on what we install.
Dealer and certification status is what gets you factory support, current firmware and the right to say a system is installed to specification. We hold the ones that matter for the systems we sell.

The team
Designers, technicians, programmers. No salespeople.
System designers
Your first call and your last. They run discovery, draw the low-voltage set and write the proposal, then stay accountable through handoff.
Field technicians
Certified installers who pull, terminate, test and label, and who treat a finished home like the finished home it is.
Programmers
The Control4 and Lutron specialists who turn hardware into scenes, schedules and interfaces your family will actually use.
Support
Remote monitoring and a team that knows your rack because they built it. Most issues are resolved without a visit.
Meet the people who will build it.
A conversation with a system designer costs nothing and usually saves a great deal. Send your plans or tell us about the house.
