Can Control4 be added to an existing home without opening walls?
Yes. Control4 controls lighting over wireless Zigbee dimmers, shades over RF, and AV over IP. A wired network still matters, so we usually run a few cables to the rack location and let the rest go wireless where it is reliable.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Everything local keeps working: lights, scenes, remotes, shades, music from local sources. Only remote access and streaming services depend on your connection. The system also recovers by itself after a power blip.
How much does a Control4 system cost in Miami?
A single-room or lighting-and-audio starter typically starts in the mid four figures. Whole-home systems for a new construction estate are scoped after a plan review and vary with the number of rooms, shades and AV zones. Every project gets an itemized proposal.
