Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County

Smart home systems built for Miami Beach waterfront living.

Miami Beach homes are built around water and glass: waterfront estates on North Bay Road and the Venetian Islands, mid-beach and North Beach houses on the canals, and condos along Collins Avenue with floor-to-ceiling views. That means shades that manage sun off the bay, cameras that cover the dock and seawall as carefully as the front door, and outdoor audio and Wi-Fi that reach the pool terrace.

Local knowledge

What matters in Miami Beach.

EZ Volt grew up on Miami Beach jobsites through EZ BH Projects, so we are used to the city's permitting, the design review process on historic streets, and the coordination that a new waterfront build demands. For existing homes we retrofit lighting, automation and networks with minimal disruption.

  • Salt air off Biscayne Bay corrodes ordinary camera and speaker hardware; we specify marine-grade enclosures and stainless mounts on every waterfront elevation.
  • Historic district and design review approvals can affect exterior camera and intercom placement; we submit cut sheets with your architect.
  • Dock, seawall and boat lift areas need dedicated camera coverage and lighting control tied to the same system as the house.

Questions

Miami Beach FAQ

Can you work on a new build with our Miami Beach architect and builder?

Yes. We prefer to join at the permit set so the low-voltage plan, rack room and conduit are on the drawings. We coordinate directly with the architect, electrician and superintendent, and we are already integrated on every EZ BH Projects build.

Do you handle condos on Collins Avenue and South of Fifth?

We do. We handle the association paperwork, insurance certificates and work-hour restrictions, and we design around building infrastructure such as shared internet feeds and concierge intercom systems.
